Vaporizer Display

After installing the Holley NH conversion kit from Lang's, I restored the Vaporizer and decided to keep it as a display piece. Attached is a picture. Also, if I ever sold the '27 Model T, then the new owner may need it if they wanted to go back to it for some reason.

I was wondering which is more common, the Ford labeled unit like this one or the Holley version?

That one, which is the Holley. The other one was the Kingston, which is way less common.

The Vaporizer had both "Ford" and/or "Holley" name tags - Kingston Regenerator was a different animal !

Steve is right. Holley production couldn’t keep up with Ford T s in 1927 so an agreement was reached allowing Ford to copy the Holley design and affix their own brass ID tag.

Some of the 1927 Model Ts came with Kingston vaporizers, but they were B-1 Gasifiers, not Regenerators. The Kingston Regenerators were a model made for the aftermarket and were advertised already in 1924 in the Ford Owner and Dealer magazine.

Hanging on a wall is what vaporizers do best.

All fine, but was the conversion worth doing? Does it make any difference?
