Re: Down under
With the covid thing happening, over seas back packers that usually get out back farm jobs haven't been able to, so good working dogs are in demand. a record price for a Kelpie was $35,200.00 AU several weeks ago.

Re: Down under
That’s a working everyday Model T! Minor dings here and there and used most everyday. Looks like some kind of add on on the right side or the turtle deck. The door has been removed and with the spare tire over the door opening the guy just crawled over and in. The top was long gone when this picture was taken. Bet that T could tell some stories !
That Model T was probably done in within 20 years or less from its build date. Such is the life of a working T!

Re: Down under
From the photo, it looks like the car may have begun as a chassis and the body purpose built for station use. The windscreen sits atop the firewall. The base timbers extend all the way to the firewall. The side boards extend forwards under the seat and the seat is mounted to them. There are no doors to get in the way. Duncan and Fraser built a "station utility" along similar lines. They re not cut down/altered/repurposed car bodies.
Somewhere I have photos of an original one family owned D and F utility, but I cannot figure out how to post them anyway.
