Engine missing issues

I have a 26 T engine that has been fully rebuilt a couple of years ago. It is missing on #1 cylinder because when I short out the plug it slows the engine down very little. Compression is 52 lbs across the cylinders(dry) I didn't do it wet. Has new plugs, wires, Anderson Timer and I have changed the coils out and still have the same issue. I have had the engine running in the dark to make sure I don't have any shorts from the coil box and I found none. When I took the plugs out of #1 and #2 plug they were blackened like they were running rich and the other two were white. It has a alum. high compression head, could this be the problem in some way??? Happy to hear about any other ideas to look at....

Classic intake manifold leak symptom.

Two clean and two sooted plugs is not a problem, it is a symptom.

Easy and cheap fix
