Pardon my ignorance, but to this wool producer and handcraft supplier, a rollag is a lightly carded roll of fibre ready to be spun into yarn. Obviously, yours is something different!

For those that don't know, Rollag is a thrashing show in northern Minnesota, about 40 miles east of Fargo. One of the largest in the states.

What's a thrashing show? How does it relate to Model T's?

...threshing

This is a threshing machine. Seperates the grain from straw and chaf.
Up until the late 30's , it was how you harvested your crop. Model T era.

Doubtless, Rollag was named after the Norwegian village of the same name. The steam show started there in 1954, and has been quite the deal every Labor Day weekend ever since! Looks great, wish I could go.

Thanks Allan, for expanding my vocabulary of obscure terms pertaining to wool ! Rolag (one "L") has its roots in Gaelic, means "little roll". What's this got to do with Model Ts ?? Well, I have posted a couple of period photos of TTs loaded with wool sacks

Rollag (pronounced roll-log) is awfully cool. Hugantic if you will. Model T's are frequent. Mine too at one time.

Next year Kerosene Annie should be at the Rumely show. Perhaps running? It's all related to T's due to the time frame.
Rollag is pretty big. Not a Russian gulag.
On my bucket list is the Florida Flywheelers show down your way. Lots of neat things and perhaps a model T or six.
