Looking for peoples' knowledge of original tire pumps for 1913 and 1921. Have they been documented anywhere?

Here's a list of parts books that show them. Bruce's encyclopedia has a few pictures in the Parts section, but they're not all shown, so I can't tell you when they changed from double cylinder to single. My reproduction includes the Ford part number on the bottom, so I assume it's a pretty accurate copy of the original.

I should have the double cylinder type for my 1915, but I have this because it was cheap. My guess it that it's probably correct for my 1923.

Generally the brass single tube, was painted black for claimed for 1917 (but perhaps is as late as 1920 based on Ford print) -1925. Then all steel tube painted black '26-'27.

But according to the various prices over the years in the Parts Books, maybe the $2.00 plus prices reflect the dual pump? The lowest prices of $1.00 are the all steel tube pumps.

Haven't read any publications with ref. material from Ford, but maybe someone has done it?

The Ford print T-1368 is noted showing the new single tube Ford design pump, drawing is dated Feb. 21, 1920. So later T's likely had the single pump*

The earlier Bridgeport brand two tube, polished brass were 1909 to maybe 1920?
Ford print, but too hazy to read obsolete date on the print.

Notice the 1911 in the photo above has a top boot . I wonder what type of jack he had?

Jim, here is a photo of the pump for 1913. It is a "Bridgeport pump." I hope this helps. Russ Furstnow

I’ve never been able to date or identify this one. Only one I’ve ever had, totally nickel plated single barrel Bridgeport Ford script. I’d love to know more about it.

Since Ford did not supply either a top boot or a jack as standard equipment until the 1913 model year (October 1912) the owner of the 1911 had to buy his top boot and jack separately. Good jack possibility would have been the Buckeye No. 03, which was advertised in the early Ford Time magazines. This one in the April 1911 issue.

I was unaware Ford didn't supply a top boot until 1913. Where does this information come from? The same goes for the jack, and tire pump.

John Regan has, on several occasions, referenced a letter he found at the Ford Archives which was sent to the dealers in 1912 stating that. I have a thread trying to find a copy of that letter on the forum at this time. Check it out.
