I just discovered a large Model T auction this Saturday September 11 in Knox PA 9:30 am by Rankin Auction Service. Many cars, hacks and tons of parts. Engines, frames, wheels, rear ends etc. It's worth going too the auction site just to see what is shown in the pictures.
I have no connection with this auction I just wanted to share what I found.

Thanks Perry. My Lord, how or maybe WHY would someone amass such a huge stockpile of stuff!

Oh what fun? A 1914 Maxwell engine and a '24-'25 Tudor body I wound love to have found 25 years ago. I wish the photos were clearer.
Thanks for the armchair treat.
Rich

Has anyone ever been to Knox, PA or know how to get there?

The webmaster evidently does not know or care to share that information.

Been by the exit numerous times. Note there is a discrepancy in the Exit number provided in the ad (52) and what the PA DOT indicates (53)
This shows the discrepancy

Off in PA on I-80 take exit 53 then get gas in case you get lost, and head North
Use this link and change the From location https://www.google.com/maps/dir/41.1860 ... e0!5m1!1e1
This will show where its at

Knox PA is just off of interstate 80 in Western Pennsylvania. The auctioneer website has a map of the area listed on his site. The auctioneer is Rankin Auction Service Clarion PA . Go to Auctionzip.com and look up on the calendar for auctions on Sept 11 and it will be listed there with a map.

Knox Pa is 15 minute drive from Clarion. Both on Interstate 80 in Western PA.

I was going to attend but when checking the auction website the auctioneers does not accept out of state checks or credit cards. I'm not carrying a wad of cash to buy a car when you don't know how much it will sell for. I wrote the auctioneer and offered to bring a bank reference letter but he wrote me back and said "We do not accept out of State checks letter or no letter".

If someone does go please report back to the forum and let us know how it went.

Penndot recently changed the exit numbers so there may be some confusion from new to old. I have been there many times ... I have family who lives there but they won't admit that I'm family. :o

The other half is shocked to find out I cancelled my plans on going to the auction. I wish I wouldn't have told her I wasn't going because now she put together a Honey Do List!

This was a great auction for any Model T man. There was a bit of everything, tools, parts, literature, cars, & gas & oil collectables. I brought home a few items I had been searching for for years.

Engine tongs was a find. Hard to come by. I looked for many years before I found mine. Dan
