I’m looking for a detailed picture of the horn button and wiring in the center of the steering column. Would prefer a picture of original car or a factory picture showing that particular detail. Anybody have anything that would show that detail?
Thanks!

This thread has some photos of the parts stack to assemble that horn. Wires go thru the spider to the button, with enough wire length to allow the wheel to turn.

It might look a little dodgy, but it works. I put just a really short bit of black heat shrink on the wires as they enter the horn button, just to keep them together. In 50 years of T driving I have broken just one wire at the switch end. There's plenty there to hook it up again. The scarce part for you guys would be the nut to which the switch is mounted, that holds the steering wheel on.

I forgot to mention that this is the same switch and housing used on early US cars that had the switch mounted on top of the steering column. The only difference on our cars is the tabs on the side of the housing are not bent out to take the mounting screws. They fit over the side of the steering wheel nut and the mounting screws screw into the sides of the nut.
