Completing my manual horn with brass

Since the horn on my 1916 T has lost it's brass part sometime in the last 105 years I now made a cone by myself as I did not find an original part.
From the 'bay' I got a fairly cheap trumpet and cut off the cone with an iron saw. It does not have the perfect shape or diameter but does look fine enough for my taste. After removing some lacquer from the rim of the horn I used a two component glue which should dry out transparent. Result looks fine to me - will let it sit for a week to have the glue fully hardening and hope the construction will stand the vibrations ...
