I do run one on the 66 Mustang only because it was there when I bought the car. It does catch a fair amount of junk.
Others may have experience using them on T’s and whether they have a negative effect on the Thermo Syphon System.

What exactly are you protecting with one?

Why? WHY? What the heck for? A model T cooling system needs no impediments.

I would display it on the shelf with my water pump collection….

If the system has loose debris in it, flush it. Unless the filter is enormous, it will plug quickly if there is anything loose in the system.

Adding a water pump is usually an attempt to solve a over heating problem. Adding a water filter may be an attempt to solve or prevent a similar issue. Like most questions: Why did you ask - curiosity or results of a flush?

If you are already running a water pump, maybe it will catch crap until it plugs up. If your system is still thermosyphon, NO. Any impedance will mess with your cooling. This is as good an idea as putting on inline fuel filter. "Why doesnt my T run up hill?"

Let's go easy on the OP, he's a first time forum user.
As you can see, a filter is not really a good idea for a T cooling system.

I do hope the OP understands no malice or taunting is intended. We are trying to help educate the gentleman.

Gee Wizz, that’s a very fine filter and nothing like the Cone shaped, Plastic one in my Mustang Top Radiator Hose which would
only catch real big stuff, so basically useless. No way would I fit any filter in any of my Model T’s
