When using a battery maintainer for storage in the Model T how often does one need to check the acid/water level since it is on the maintenance regime?

Modern-type batteries should not need water added under any ordinary circumstance. An exception would be a Model T with a stock generator and cut out in use. A battery on a good maintainer should not need water added. If for any reason you do add water in cold weather, it is advisable to charge the battery by running the car or connecting a charger capable of applying several amps for a couple of hours to mix the electrolyte and prevent freezing. FWIW, I used the original battery in a 2005 Toyota pickup for 11 years. During that time, I never added any water.
