Can someone post a photo of a correct threshold for a 23-25 Rear Touring Door? This photo is of my right rear threshold for my 1924, should the metal pieces be joined here or is this correct?

Correct, except typical production the wood filler pieces above the sill are tapered up and a bit more flush with the edges of the metal threshold at each upper corner. The exposed wood painted with body pieces installed.

Thanks Dan for posting those pics, a big help. Would you know what kind of wood those filler pieces are?

Dan Trace, On this photo I have circled a lip that is on the narrow threshold below the door. Is this lip supposed to go into a slot on the wood rail below? Mine is just resting on the wood rail and there is a space below it.

Daniel. Isn’t a slot in the wood sill, that stamped metal threshold piece just folds over. Variations in assembly of parts will occur with our Model T’s!
