Hello Everyone!
My 1914 Touring has had this Eight Day clock on the dash for as long as I can remember. It’s also been right twice a day since I can remember. My dad recently took it it a clock repair ship near his house, who told him he could not fix it.

I’m hoping someone has a recommendation to THE clock repair person who could fix it.

Hello My 1912 has a Stewart clock in it and was told the same thing ,I got brave one day I bought a spare clock with the thought of using it for parts it did not run. I opened it up it was a very simple rim wind clock ,used clock oil on all the moving parts and it started to run. I also did this to the clock in the car and it is now running again. I would open it up and look for something wrong ,if all looks good hit all the shafts with wd40, just a touch on each shaft where it goes through the plate. If you get it running at the same points use clock oil . At this point if you open it up and find something wrong there is no harm you can close it up and at least you know what wrong. These are pics of my Stewart and Clark clock very simple and if something is broken you should see it. Your clock should be sum what the same as mine.

The very best antique clock and dash clock repair person is Mike the owner of Time Mart in Pasadena Texas.
281-487-6645 and 281-487-6156. He has fixed several dash clocks for me that "couldn't be fixed" and he is
very reasonable and prompt. He actually make many of the parts in his minature-ized machine shop.
