Cast iron pistons question

Does anyone know if cast iron pistons are supposed to be cam ground or not. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure the cast iron originals were not. I believe they did have some relief in the ring land area. Aluminum pistons required a lot of re-thinking to control expansion and dimensional changes.
