Question About “Front Armrest Brackets” on a 1911 Touring

Hello fellow Model Ters,
Other 1910-1912 Ford Touring cars have these brackets installed inside the fore armrests (under the upholstery) to give rigidity to the leading edge of that armrest.
My Ray Wells body has them behind the back doors but there is no evidence that they were ever installed up front. The ones pictured were recently purchased from a Model T parts collector.
Have any of you seen these before on the front armrests? And, how would you go about “firmly” securing them? They will help limit the flex of the front armrests when heavy guys pull out on them to lift themselves into the front passenger seat.
