Has anyone made these pieces for a 24/5 coupe or sedan

Post by JTT3 » Sat Oct 16, 2021 7:15 pm

Hi forum, not having much luck locating the following parts for a young guy working on a coupe. I’m sure others may have had the same issue. If you have made these parts what did you use and do you have any patterns that I could get from you? Thanks for your help. John

I certainly thought about making one. That was one of the most elusive parts to find for my Tudor. Like other symmetrical parts we often find several rights before we find a left or visa versa.

That would be some tricky bending of 17 gauge (.056). The hours in trial and error to make the tooling and fabricate a few would be far more than most would want to spend on them. However, making one when you need one can be very satisfying.
I hope you find one. They are out there.
Rich
When did I do that?

John: A few years back I parted out a 24 coupe. I had those but may have sold them. I will look but I can not remember seeing them lately. Will let you know if I find them. Dan
