Is anyone having trouble finding head light sockets
We are one of the mfg. of the double contact headlight sockets and have just found out our supplier has quit making them, so if you need them buy what's left from your dealer, Bob

Langs was out pre-Hershey, (just out of stock, it happens) so I was able to purchase some from the Model T and A parts vendor in the Red Field adjacent to the stadium grandstands. Can not remember whom they are, but had them along to the show that week.

Re: Is anyone having trouble finding head light sockets
I have a few pairs of original double contact headlight sockets.
They are in very nice (likely NOS but I cannot be absolutely sure) condition.
When Don Lang looked at them at the 2008 Centenial he thought them to be NOS.
If there is any interest I could dig them out of storage.

That would be Mader’s They are in Virginia. They have no website and only do two events a year.

Makes me glad 2 out of my 3 cars are gas lamps!
Supply issues are slowly getting worse and worse.

Re: Is anyone having trouble finding head light sockets
Thank you Will. You are right, it was Mader's. They were so very nice and helpful. got me the rest of the parts I couldn't order at the time from Langs. Great people, good transaction. I feel lucky I got the parts when I did. The headlights are the one in-complete portion of my 1915 cut-down touring project.Will_Vanderburg wrote: ↑Mon Oct 18, 2021 6:29 pm
