That is bizarre ! Imagine the chill from that prop on a winter day !
Most prop driven snowmobiles / ice boats are "pushers".

Thought the same thing minute I saw that pic Rich! My gosh...chill factor would have to be 80 below zero!! Dad could duck down behind mom and miss most of it...while she freezes to death. Maybe that was the plan!! :lol:

If that is a Model T engine, they flipped it around 180 to adapt the output shaft.
The prop turns to the left.

If they steer using the rear single runner the vehicle would have had a tendency to swap ends if you oversteer, much like a taildragger airplane. Altogether not the greatest design.
