Website Termination Plan

Everyone should know by now that the free club website maintained by Hemmings Motor News, for about 25 years, will terminate in a little over 60 days.
The clubs did not have an actual website, with their own URL, only a Folder maintained on the HMN website.
HMN sent notices to all the club with a list of possible free websites, which may not be entirely free.
Has any club already found another website location free or otherwise to recommend?
HMN will maintain a list of all the clubs and a point of contact for those of interest in any particular vehicle type.

Never used Hemmings but there is still;

I know that even the Dodge Brothers national club stores their archived library material there.

The Sacramento Valley Model T Club has used Hemmings to host our website for free for 10 + years. I have not received anything from them about terminating the service. I see the page describing the hosting service is no longer any good. I better give them a call Monday morning.
For the Mother Lode Model T Club I use IONOS, formerly 1and1, we pay $8 a month plus $12 a year for the domain.

The good news is that there are companies that will host paid websites pretty cheaply.

The bad news is no one knows which company to choose and whether they will actually use the URL for their website or that company will own it and kind of hold them hostage with it.
HMN offers a list of free ones on their website.
The $64,000 question, "how free is really free"

I don't know how their business model works, but another member a while back mentioned a site called "The Wayback Machine" which contains an archive of old defunct web pages. Stan Howe's old Ruckstell and Stromberg pages are stored there. I don't know whether Stan made arrangements to put them there (I doubt it).
