Horsing around, 1927

Post by Rich Bingham » Tue Oct 26, 2021 9:41 am

Interesting load for a '26 touring !
1927 in Breckenridge, Texas, photo shows what a real "using" Model T looks like with a few months to a year's use in real life.
Thanks to forum member "txgoat2" for crediting the photo to Basil Clemmons, noted photographer of that era.

Search "Basil Clemmons" and check out the pictures online. He photographed everyone and everything.

Maybe they just want to be able to go on if the Ford breaks down!

I hadn't thought of that... 20 horsepower under the hood and one spare horsepower in the back.

That looks like a 1926 to me. Yes, I know, the photo was taken in 1927.

I agree with John. The black radiator shell and the aluminum grommets for side curtain rods says early to mid 26 to me.

Lack of headlight cross bar - early ‘26?
