Hi all,. I know this is a longshot, but anyone heading west from Massachusetts to Northern California with space for an early pan? I've considered shipping it by UPS or Fed ex but worry about damage or God forbid getting lost. Any help appreciated.

If you can't find someone to transport it for you send it FedEx and insure it for $10,000. The cost of the insurance is a small price to pay for piece of mind. Years ago I had to ship the crankshaft for my 1908 Locomobile and was deathly afraid of loss or damage. I was assured that with an insurance value that high it would be treated with kid gloves and it was. When I got it back the container I had made to transport it didn't have a scratch on it and was plastered with caution stickers. I expect it was hand carried throughout the trip from NY to Seattle.

Got a Fastenal near the shipping origin? As close to white-glove hand shipping as it gets.

Michael, how soon do you need it? Don Lang is leaving early tomorrow and will be stopping here. I can bring it to Chickasha from here.

Wow, thank you for the posts, lots of great options!
Thanks RV, Perry, and Russ. Don Lang can bring it to Chickasha, Lang's is planning on a space there in 2022.
I just posted in case a member had some trunk space that was heading west.
Ya just never know, it's a small world. Lots of us Model T guys and gals out there!
Like all of us, once you find a rare part, you can't wait to get it home!
