High volume outside oiler kit.
Tightening the 3/8" flair nut & it acted stripped. The nut had actually split off some threads. The flair nut is obviously cast, not billet. This is on a motor with under 100 miles. Not time enough for fatigue. What if it failed down the road??? This would have gone catastrophic fast. New 6K motor lost!! Cheapest hardware available? Eastern knockoff? I have 2 of these units on my T's & recommend em. This scares me.
Next stop, The good hardware store for 2 tall billet flair nuts .
WARNING: Hi volume oil line failure
