Here is a yard long panoramic photo I have of Highland Park. By the looks of the chassis I believe around 1913.

If it is like the others I have seen, it is a giant postcard. I think if you look in the middle you will see a fold line where you are suppose to fold it double to mail it. On the back is described the view, should say it is part of one day production in 1914.

The extra-long crossmember on those chassis dates the photo to the short period of time that crossmember was used in 1913. Someone can look it up to be sure, but off the top of my head I don’t think it was used more than several weeks or possibly a couple months. Maybe around June of ‘13.

One day's production, eh? Amazing isn't it. Beautiful sight. Would love to have one of those pictures/postcards, whatever they are.

No fold line in center. The glass is cracked in the middle. It still has the original backing paper sealed to the frame. When I eventually have to remove it from the frame ( to replace glass ) I will be able to confirm if it is a postcard. Seems to large for a folded post card.

Was this the normal procedure, to pull the unfinished cars outside and line them up to await their body, or was this done for for this photo? Where did they store the cars when it rained? Jim Patrick.

Just look at all those white tires !!! Bet they lasted longer back then than today’s.

I have one of those. Mine is a really long post card that you could fold up and mail. The Henry Ford was selling them some years ago in the bookshop. Try going on line or calling them for availability. It is a glossy hand colored photo post card about 2 feet or more long, seem to remember they were quite inexpensive, like 8-12 dollars.
