I just received notice that the Model T and A swap meet in Marietta, Ohio is a go! The one day event starts at 7:00 am on Saturday March 5.
This annual swap meet always has good attendance, lots of T stuff, and many parts to choose from. In years past, vendors in attendance include Kevin Pruis, Ron’s Machine Shop, Dave Nolting transmission drums, The Coil Dr., Buckeye Electric and many individual vendors.
It’s a fun time, inside in a heated building, and the first swap meet of the season. This has got to be maybe the 12th year? Good food on sight and pies galore!
We are now looking at items to bring. Registration for vendors begins Jan. 1, 2022. Booth prices and admission the same as the last swap meet here.
See you there! You won’t be disappointed!

This swap meet is a 6.2 hour drive for me, is this a pretty big shindig?
Sounds like a place I want to go,but a long way off.

I was there right before the lockdowns....
Not huge, 50-60 vendors ? It was more T stuff primarily. And a chow hall ! :)

We drive 5 hours to attend because the T club that puts it on treats us so well. It takes about 2 hours to see it all. You’ll have to decide whether that’s too far. I’ve always sold a bunch of T stuff here and get some good deals as well! It ends at 3:00!

Thanks,I will plan on going as I might find some stuff to get me jump started back on my project
After "surviving" the lockdown #*#*@ I have decided to take a couple road trips a year and not sit and home and Wish I did.

Just received my application for space rental at this swap meet. Hopefully the new COVID variant and other factors will not interfere with this swap meet. Looking forward to seeing everyone for the first model T event for 2022 for us!

I actually did some googling about a hotel room and got to thinking, what if ,so I am going to give this new "variant" a week or 2 more and see what happens as far as things getting canceled.

Seems as though when we are there that weekend, there is a bunch of young folks there doing all kinds of stuff. Sometimes motel rooms can get scarce and pricey! I figure I can always make changes to the room later. At least I have a place to lay my head for sure!

Just 31 days and 10 hours before the great Marietta swap meet.
We will be selling raffle tickets for the Model T engine that will be won by the lucky ticket holder at the International Tour in July in Hamilton Ohio. This complete engine is valued at $10,000.00 with all proceeds going to the MTFCI youth foundation. All parts are being donated for this project with only 2022 tickets being sold. Tickets are $25 each or 5 tickets for $100. Don’t need to be present to win. Engine will need to be picked up either at the tour or at Ron’s Machine Shop in Shannon, Ohio.
