Placement of Small Bracket Under Oval Tank.

The current gas tank in my 25 Coupe does not have the small banana shaped bracket seen at the bottom of this picture. Is it supposed to sit in the bracket with two legs or one leg or is there supposed to be one of these brackets on both sides. Thank you.

I removed these brackets from my ‘25 touring tank just yesterday for painting. The banana-shaped part was under the single-footed bracket. No such piece under the two-footed bracket. I can’t say for sure that it’s correct, just how mine was put together.

Yes - bracket under the single leg only.

The loose bracket you ask about goes on the one bolt to frame side tank bracket under the gas tank.

I just looked under my 1924. Banana bracket on single leg only.
