Fender Width
A friend has two front fenders that are definitely Model T fenders, but they 9 inches wide.
The center area is slightly raised, rather than just flat and there is a narrow and raised area on each side of the center section.
I have measured several truck fenders that are 8 inches wide and I have no idea what these may fit.
Would anyone know what vehicle they were made to be used on.

Re: Fender Width
Yes ford did make wide track fenders. I have a pair if 15 wide track front fenders . 9 inches wide sounds about right.
There used to be a 15 wide track car here in town.

Re: Fender Width
Might be wide track or might be aftermarket fenders, these were made a bit larger as noted in the adv.

Re: Fender Width
They are flat topped. Widetracks didnt extend into the later crowned fender. More likely aftermarket, dress up fenders.

Re: Fender Width
Wide tracks were made till 18. I had a NOS Wide Track crown rear fender a few years ago. Friend had the other side. So Ford must have made crowned wide tracks. Dan

Re: Fender Width
Did have to check what Dan Hatch posted on 60" crowned fenders. Can't find any part # listings in Price List of Parts books.
But Bruce McCalley's CD Encyclopedia had them listed. He used for this master list of Part #s cross-referenced to Fac #s a book from Ford known as Factory Number Book, dated 1920, containing every Ford Factory # at the time. So, there were the '17-'18 60" wide track fenders, front and rear.
The front '17-'18 60" Fender Factory # are T-5739 Right, and T-5740 Left. Didn't know, now I do
