Maybe someone will post pictures of their cars. I have seen very few cars with original paint. I think Dan Trease saw one at a show one time and took a picture of it. Most 26-27 coupes were green in color, but I think any color could be ordered. When my Dad and I pulled his father's 27 coupe out of a barn, after a 15 year slumber, and washed the dust off of it, no green could be detected; only black. On the other hand, my Mom's 27 coupe bought new, appears to be Gray in color. The picture is a black and white photo, but even so, the color is so light to be a dark green, in reality.

My 1926 coupe. Mfg. March, 1926. When completely restored from 1970 to 1972, I detected no original green paint. Only black. Bruce McCalley told me that was a common occurrence when changing over to the all steel improved style. Jim Patrick
