My speedster has the front axle mounted in front of the radiator. This necessitates a longer crank. I fabed one up, but have a couple of questions.

How far back from the ratchet end is the spring pin hole drilled?

Is there just a pin to hold the spring in place, or a pin and washer?

I can't seem to find any pictures.

There is no pin or washer to hold the spring.

The outer end of the spring has a little bend that sticks into the tiny hole in the crank handle. The hole is 5½" out from the back end of the crank.

Al it has to do is pull the crank away from a moveing crankshaft.
