If you have been following my blog, then you know what I'm up to.

If not, then here are some photos. I am in the process of making drawings for the body sills for my Centerdoor. Using photos and measurements taken from my original wood pieces and pieces owned by Terry Miller, I'll show you briefly what I've done. I'm not ready to show final numbers yet as I want to make throwaway pieces out of cheap lumber (HA HA) first to play around with.

Also included is a shot of the Roof Rails.

There's not enough space currently in my basement to lay the sill patterns out flat on the floor. However they are drawn on 7 pieces of 9 x 12 inch paper taped together.

Having received some rough pieces from another Centerdoor that is long gone, I’m readjusting my sill thickness to 1 1/4 inches instead of 1 5/16th inches.

I’ll probably cut new wood to the larger size and creep up to the smaller size. I’m not sure how much of a difference 1/16th inch makes over all. I do know the floorboards are 5/8ths inch thick but I don’t believe the rabbet on the sill is that deep.
