The line-up is in 66 days. Remember the price goes up $10 a space if you pay at the gate.

It's a fun social gathering Keith - Diane said there was nothing she saw there that I don't have in the shop, garages or the container !!!

Can’t afford it anymore. Inflation at 7% and I can’t realistically adjust parts prices accordingly. Treasury wants taxes paid on any residual income of $600 or more. Think I’ll just stay home and tend my Victory garden...

I would like to attend, but the over all cost to me (cost of covering my store when gone, motel costs, etc) runs over $1500.00, so just to cover costs I have to sell at least that much. That means selling good stuff. I might do it just for the fun.

I do have items that require examination bycustomers, bulky itenms I would rather not ship and many small parts (good items) that require many photos and ads. This swap meet is the best place to sell good early or "good stuff". So I will wait and see for now.

For me I am on the road longer than I am there.
Not sure if I will make it or not.
Luray has better stuff any way.

I've never stayed in a motel at Chickasha. I'm not the only one. Several of us camp in the south building.

Last year was my first time and I had a blast
There was a great group of gals serving good
food and coffe early in the morning as well
as lunch during the day inside the buildings.
TC came from Spokane with his brother.
DY drove down from Iowa in his Model T
like he does most years.
I did a few video interviews ….

I actually enjoy the road trip to Chickasha.
Last year was the first time I rented a space. Sold off my excess Model T and A parts.

Will be going this year just to look. Also, as others have mentioned, the camaraderie along with the possibility of finding some obscure part(s) is much to be looked forward to. You might even get a ride in one of the cars parading around the grounds like I did in Erik Barrett's 1914 Overland.
