Does anyone make a gasket for the electric horn?
The ones in mine are shot.
I’m restoring it for my 27.
Thanks!
Brent

Ford supplied battery horn or some other type? Ford type, reading some older post, some had gaskets, some didn't. Were there any signs of gasket when you took it apart?
One of the post suggested making the gasket out of something like a file folder. You would not want it too thick.
I only checked Lang's, did not see the gasket(s) listed. If the horn is not Ford supplied, you would still have to make your own.

Think is was a Ford Ames version I took apart and didn't see a gasket. The hint of using writing paper (not copier paper) would be ok, manilla file folder stock would be too thick IMO.
When you get to adjusting, here is the Ford Service Bulletin info:

Gaskets I have found were paper thin. The thick brown paper in a grocery bag is about right. It may not have been about sealing the components. Rather it might have been a way to partially isolate the diaphragm from the metal components between which it was sandwiched, to perhaps improve the sound of the duck fart produced?

I've taken apart both Ford and Ames horns and neither had a gasket.
