It's interesting that the cars depicted have Model T characteristics but early Model A radiator shells.

Ford officially denied that a new Ford was in the works in the mid to late 1920s. but I'd guess word was out, given how many people were involved with Ford Motor Company. Perhaps the images were a hint of things to come.

not a single one looks like a Ford in any aspect and but for the logo on front, I would not know what kind of car it was.

The Model Ts in the Cobb Shinn cards at least resemble Model Ts. These cards as well as the last two styles are all drawn by the artist "Witt". While there are three styles of his cards, all but one that I have that are postmarked are either 1917 or 1918, suggesting they were all drawn about the same time. For whatever the reason, the first series has the Ford besting the big car. The second is poking fun at the Model T and the third is trumpeting the Model T's versatility. Three themes. Three depictions.
