Need to know some facts, not guesses! When did Ford start punching the holes in the radiator side panels for the rubber headlight tubing? Could it have been about the same time they started stamping Made in USA under the Ford script?

From page 603 of the CD encyclopedia, Radiator section- "In mid 1912 holes were added in the sides for the gas lamp hose, with a soldered-in-place pipe from side to side for the headlamp gas. "Made in USA" under the "Ford" script was added about April 16, 1912."

The New Version of the Encyclopedia under " Alpha Section", " P-R" and click on "Radiators", you will find the heading "Evolution of Brass Radiators by Trent Boggess. In the 8th. paragraph down, starting as," In 1912 holes were added in the radiator for the gas lines". It continues on with dates. Larry, I hope this will answer your question.
