This gentleman on the west coast is posting videos documenting the upholstery and top work on a 1925 Roadster.

This is the same gentleman that has posted several videos that shows him fabricating a brass era T touring body mainly from scratch. He also has a series showing the repair on the rear of a Model A Rumble Seat Coupe that was in a collision involving the left rear. Yet another video series shows him doing a proper repaint of a Model A Sedan.
All videos are informative and well done. For a somewhat high-strung person like myself, listening to his narration can be calming and makes it easy to follow.
I had the pleasure of meeting this gentleman recently and he is every bit as humble and unassuming as he is in the videos.
His channel is: ONEWHOCOLLECTS on YouTube. I highly recommend you, and possibly younger folk that are interested in this hobby, check out these videos. You won't have to keep your finger on the "Close" button when you're watching with the younger folks. Everyone can watch them.

The first thing this guy forgot is Ford didn't use covered upholstery buttons. He did a nice job, but didn't do it exactly like Ford did. The car he has is a late one, with the tool box in back of the gas tank. Ford installed the buttons before the upholstery was installed, and the buttons followed the contour of the body, which his don't do very good. In addition only the center stitch was sewn. The rest of them were folded over from just above the buttons.

I have found this guys' u tube information very helpful. I'm restoring a 25 Touring and getting close to working on upholstery and top bows. He mentions in the series of videos that he understands that the original upholstery buttons were metal, but he decided to use vinyl buttons instead. I appreciated that info. I have never done upholstery, but his videos have me ready to give it a try! The pic attached is an early one of my project; all of the fenders, running boards and hood have been put on for fit. They will come off again for painting.

I give the guy a lot of credit for posting what he does. Those who are more knowledgeable and can show it more authentically aren't taking the time to do it. If it gets some folks started it is well worth while. Comments and suggestions are nice to be added.

This got me thinking. Does anyone have any videos from JV Group? We need to find these and get them preserved for the future. I think the masters were lost. John could tell us. These were well worth getting. I have a couple somewhere. Dan

I have some of Vince's videos. His wife is still living and has rights to them as far as I know. I tried to get the MTFCA to purchase them and failed. She informed me that she thinks she still has a number of them in the house. I believe they are the best videos out there, but I have been unsuccessful in having them saved.

The guy has a great channel for us every day non concours guys. Even the experts might learn something.
