Well, we made it home again. :) The swap meet was cold and windy this year. At first I thought there were more people there, till everyone was set up. It looked sparce this year. Maybe the gas prices or ???? kept people away. But we had fun again, met some great people, and brought home a few treasures. I sold a ton of stuff. I gave out a few good deals, but for the most part got good prices for the stuff. I did not buy a lot this year, but did buy a Rajo 35 project head. It has some freeze cracks in the water jacket but it is mostly complete, and water jacket cracks do not worry me. Im afraid it may be the start of another project .... and I also bought thirty seven NOS Boyce Moto meter radiator caps. The man I had been buying them from for many years did not have anymore for the last few years and I thought they were all gone. He passed away last year, and his family was selling the remaining parts stock that he had been bringing to Chickasha. There was a whole box full of them that they found in the last of his stuff. So I guess Ill be the new supplier of Boyce Motometer caps ...
Here are a bunch of photos. There probably will be some duplicates of Steve and the other folks photos, but Ill post what I have. They will be in approx. order of when I took them, starting with the parking lot line up and ending with a picture of my truck being almost the last vehicle to leave. Then Ill show some of the treasures I found.

That 1915 engine block has a 16-18 hogshead with it.

The solid Pneuflex-style tires were not in great shape, but I was surprised to see so many together. I don't think there are a lot of survivors.

Great pix, Donnie. My missus visited with your missus while she was checking out your rig and digs. I wish I had known it was your stall.

Thanks for the memories Donnie. The 4th and 5th pictures from the top are eager buyers around my truck at the first of two staging areas. Enjoyed meeting you and thanks for the turtledeck. I estimate the south building was half full of vendors.

George, The "vultures" were very active this year. I was even involved in a few "feeding frenzies" myself.
Steve, yes there were several of the solid rubber tires this year. I bought them because they were so cheap. I'll pair them with some old sorry condition wheels I have and sell them as garage art or restaurant decor. At the other swap meets I go to, well over half my sales are my "wall art , decor items" They want the really old and worn out stuff. Not the good stuff. It's the things most folks throw away.
Keith, Sorry I missed you. The rig your wife is looking at is our "off grid" camp setup. We can get "way back" in the national forests or BLM land. We are fully self contained for about a week. It has solar power, refridgerator/freezer, water purification, slide out kitchen, hot showers, gps navigation, ecct, ecct, We can find a place to camp and be fully setup and Kathy can be cooking in about 3 to 5 minutes.

Neat pics, all. Great score on the rajo ,Donnie. The manifold is hard to find, as you know. The valve cover is also very interesting. Does it appear original to it? That old repair begs for the Sal Ammoniac shavings in the rad, trick. Or water glass.

Was there any ID on that single cylinder engine? Seller? That looks a lot like a Blomstrom Queen motor!

Call Chris or Gary Paulson (phone # in the pics) on that 1 cylinder engine. It was in their trailer.

Tim, The valve cover is a "handmade" cover. It is typical of the time period. The plate under the cover is sealable as well as the cover. There are two fittings on the front of the plate for oil lines. The old weld on the cracks seems to be a good repair. The welds are a little rough, but do not appear to have leaked. My favorite find is the snubber. It is an original 1926-27 Ford accessory. They are a very hard to find accessory. It is one of the last dealer accessories I need for my 1927 Sports Touring.

Darren and all- the engine is a 1902 Oldsmobile. It sold, as did both the 1910 and 1913 Model Ts.

The similarities are very interesting with that motor! Blomstrom Queen 1 and 2 cylinder motors use the helical gears and side shaft cam arrangements too. The front of the head is what I really wondered about as I’ve not seen one of these out of a chassis.
Queen motors have C H Blomstrom Motor Co. cast into the areas around the valve plugs.
