Wood Wheel Hub Covers

I am looking for information on these "Wheel Hub Covers". They are aluminum and I believe they will fit over the later wood wheel hubs. I have done a few searches but my search criteria were too general and did not produce any results for these. I need to know how they were held in place.
Do you know who made these? Do you have any like these?

Any help will be appreciated.

There is a small lip on the edge that the hub cap touches when screwed on all the way. Hub cap holds them in place. I do have similar units & matching aluminum headlight rims with the red stripe.

Thanks for the response. I would love to see pictures of what you have.

Do you have any idea who sold these originally?

thanks

James, it appears that you have 4 front covers. I reproduced these out of brass a few years ago. They are held on by the hub cap. Tim franko

Most all of those accessory hub covers came with special hub caps to secure, some fit ok with std. Ford hub caps.

Try by test fit. Covers were made for other cars like Chevy.

On this hub cover, found by itself, had to modify the opening of the hub cover, and then an accessory cap pinched it tight so no rattles.

I have two sets of the covers, pictured above with the red trim. One set is used and doesn't have the hub caps. The other set is NOS and has the correct hub caps and has only been out of the original box for inspection and photos. If I don't use them, someday, you'll see them in the Classifieds 'for sale', but that is a ways down the road. Next time I dig them out, I'll take another photo and post picture of box and instructions.
