This is supposedly a NOS, late style, rolled grip starting crank with Ford script - question; has anyone seen this type of rolled grip ? I've cranked & handled dozens & dozens of the later style hand cranks but have never seen one like this !!! Original Smith - input ?
I hijacked the photo off Ebay & apologize for any improprieties !

Steve I have one like it too. I thought it was strange when I acquired it.

I have one with a handle like that, but I think the engine side is longer...I thought is Model A maybe.

There is one like that on ebay. It looks like the handle is half sawed off.

The Model A, for car, had the lug bolt socket at the other end. The AA truck was just straight, no sleeve, no lug bolt socket.

"Rolled" grip is common for the late style but I've not seen the enclosed bulbous end as the one pictured.
