I bought my first T in 1978. Barn find, 100% there, but everything needed everything and it seemed to take forever to get it reliable, a tough job with taking along a 2 year old as navigator.

Through the 80’s the car became more respectable…

In 1993 I get a lecture from that son…I didn’t do a body off, I only did firewall forward…so, why doesn’t he take it apart, completely, and we can tag team putting it back together as a team. 2 days later it was a pile of parts with the body on a skid…chassis pushed in the corner…and anything removable now up in the attic for safe keeping.

He then got a license shortly after and got himself an old muscle car that was closer to beater than anything else. I pondered what to do since he had no time whatsoever, so I bought a very low mile known provenance 1915 Roadster.

Fast forward to 2010. Found an ideal Hack not far away, but where to put it? Son says no problem, move the chassis to a conex box at his grandfathers until he can pull the engine…yup….right…

We are snowbirds and my phone shows up with pictures yesterday….

I think this is good news? Somebody raided my garage up north …lol. He already has a 26….let’s see where this ends up…lol. 👍👍👍. It only took 30 years to go full circle, that chassis has been strung from the ceiling of his company warehouse for the last 7 years….he drove it over on the trailer…had his work crew meet him….they lifted and put the body on…emptied the attic
