New I-Timer installed

Just installed an I Timer. I am now able hand crank my starter equipped T by the first pull. This afternoon did 2 priming pulls went back just turned on the key and she started running. Yesterday went for a 22 mile drive on Bishop's Lodge rd to the Tesuque Market drove like a champ. Just made sure coils were adjusted and plugs gapped and cleaned.

I have two, they work well so far, no problems. As with anything new, time will tell, but so far no maintenance required. With my old timers the first thing I did when a car started running rough was to clean the timer. So far, with two I Timers, I have had no problems!

Ya Kirk, I haven't heard anyone that has swapped out any other type of timer with a ITimer or even the ETimer that was not Super Pleased with the results.
I could only guess at the number of absolute trouble and maintenance free miles that have now been driven on Mike's new timers. I would bet it must be close to 100,000 miles total by now. I think Dean Yoder must have logged at least 1/3 of those.

I installed a new TW brush style timer and my 23 and starts on the first pull...

I have used bunches of the TW's and have had good results.
Only thing, keep 'em clean. Depending on how much you drive (duuuh) maybe
twice a year open it up and clean out the carbon dust. It'll start to tell
you when it needs it too. And by all means, don't let ANY oil get in it.

I was on the fence and I took the plunge. After installing the I-Timer and adjusting my coils my '16 (with '24 engine) runs like a pro.
For a while I thought I was headed for some serious engine work. Not now.
btw, I have the '16 engine. I use the '24 so I don't have to crank.
