Seen today in Visalia CA, just up the road from this weekend’s big swap meet in Tulare.

Too bad that oak tree isn't a hickory tree. It would have been a source for many spokes!!! :-)

The T looks to be about a 1920 so that means the T had been parked in that spot at least 90 years or so? It looks like it was in good shape when it abandoned. Or in other words ran when parked!

I don't think so! If it ran, why would it be parked so long a tree grew up through it? It must have taken several years to get big enough to be seen by anyone. At that time it could have easily been removed. I think the car didn't run when parked and became "yard art" The tree was either planted there on purpose or it just happened an acorn was under the tree when parked.

That's the best one so far. A perfect photo.
I couldn't help noticing it's a Touring with two trunks.
Thanks for posting it.

When did I do that?

My guess would be the folk artist disassembled the body so it fit around the tree. A Close inspection would prove otherwise….
