The Blue 1911 T that sold on the forum 16,500 is how on ebay bidding at 22,100 It will be interesting to see how high it goes

There's a dark blue almost black one with white tires on ebay too, for $44,900, but it's RHD

Ebay seems to reach more people and is probably indicative of true market value.

I didn't know that Henry installed an electric starter in the 1911 models.

I'm sure if it was the real deal, it's a steel at that price, I don't think there are to many 108 year old parts on it as described. Just with a quick look, the block has made in USA on it, engine # pad on the left, no tea cup pan and later front wheel hubs.

This dealer in AZ has had several other "T's" up for sale, mostly speedsters and most of them have been of the Rootlieb body persuasion. Most are in the 20-30,000 bracket. Everyone I've looked at has the exact same floor board design. I've wondered if he is turning them out in the back room from a specific pattern. He also has a lot of Kit/Replica's currently for sale. His reserve seems to be about $500.00 below his buy it now price. Can't fault him, He's selling them.

Looking at what else he has for sale, at least the top end stuff like the Merc's are listed as replica's, maybe he thinks that Ford people aren't to bright and can flog T's off as the real deal

Well at least now we pretty much know what the reserve is, as up until I've seen it today, there was no "buy it now" price.
So he wants at least $30K for it, way too much for a much TOO BLUE '11 with a '12+ engine in it. I'd give him maybe $20K.

Just a quick comment on the engine block. Being a no generator block, with the size and shape of the serial number boss, it must be a late '16 to early '19 block. '12 through '15 blocks have a boss no longer than the water inlet boss. A few very late'15s and '16s are only slightly longer than the water inlet is long, while very late '16 and later are considerably longer, clearly extending beyond the water inlet size. One of the two photos of the left side of the block does show the much longer boss. The shadowing makes it a bit difficult to see (almost cannot see it in the other picture of the left side of the engine), but it does show.
