I wanted to post the passing of Patty Lang. The other half of the founding of Lang's Old Car Parts. The business woman who was a power house behind our family business and at the heart of who Lang's Old Car Parts is. 40 years ago her and Don started this company and we want to thank everyone who has supported her and us and let us be part of their Model T family. She passed with family around her on Sunday, Mother's Day of course, after a battle with brain cancer. Her obituary is below. She loved the hobby and the people in it so much. Thank you all

I'm sorry to read about this. Although I did not personally know her, or any of her family, I have great respect for the Lang family and the wonderful service they have provided in supplying parts to keep our cars running.

I am very sorry to hear this.

My sister is dying of a Glioblastoma Multiforme now.
I lost my other sister to a Glioblastoma Multiforme
back in 1998.

For many Folks it seems the couple years
have been hard on Families.

First time I met the Lang family was in 2009 on the Ocean to Ocean run - I consider myself a friend of the family and I am at a loss for words !

So saddened to read this. Being on the other coast, I never really knew the Lang family. However their name has been around and highly respected in the hobby for so long, one, even on the West coast, cannot help but feel they know the Lang family.

The sad and the glad come at the same time...
Patty's earthly presence is gone, but the caring and honest work ethics that she and Don instilled in the younger generation continues.
May Patty's tradition of service to others continue to live on under the Lang banner.

I just heard last night from a friend, very sad news indeed.
These things are never easy for those left behind, you and your family have my heart felt condolences.

I've been away from the Forum for a while due to some life issues and just saw this. I'm so sorry to hear this. We lost our oldest daughter at age 36 to brain cancer five years ago, I know of no words that can ease the pain of losing a loved one. Dave
