Sharing the road with an Amish buggy!

Post by principal6553 » Wed Apr 10, 2019 8:29 pm

My son and I took our first ride of Spring in the 26 touring today. She ran perfect! My boy got a shot of an Amish young man waving his approval!
Note: our car wasn’t upside down! Just can’t get the pic to flip! Lol

I'm glad I drive my little Model T so I'm not embarrassed like my friend in his brand X car

Ah yes Steve, the dreaded road apples. One can usually navigate around or straddle them but if the horse has a bad day or if it rains its apple sauce. Your garage smells like a horse barn the next day. Never bothered me much as my horses are in the old drive through corn crib attatched to the back of my shop.

Glad no-one was hurt when the car flipped over, just kidding. Looks like good times were had. Enjoy. :D

I don't think you'll pass any Amish buggies in the near future because they were called out to help clean up the roads in the mid-west!
