Height Question

Post by Reno Speedster » Wed May 18, 2022 9:45 pm

I am making arrangements to get my 22 pickup shipped up to Alaska. I need to confirm the drop off tomorrow. But today the shipper told me that the height limit for a vehicle to be shipped in an enclosed container is 6 feet. The measurements I see on line say that the T is 73.2 in tall so based on that, I can fold down the top and windshield and It would be less than 6 feet tall, but I don’t have it here to measure and I would hate to get it there and find out otherwise. If push came to shove, I could just remove the entire windshield but that would be a pain. Can anyone tell me if a T with the windshield folded down is less than 6 ft tall?

Thanks

You should be okay with the top folded down. Also, fold down your split windshield.

Just checked. My '23 Touring with '26 wire wheels hits 70.5 inches to the top of the windshield posts. My '20 Roadster with the folding windshield is 67 inches top down, windshield folded. You should be fine
