Carlisle All Ford Nationals

Post by Bryant » Thu May 19, 2022 10:06 am

All ford nationals is coming up. Dates are June 3-5. I’ve been to it before but never looking for model t things. Has this been a decent show for the model T world?

I guess I answered my own question. Traveled to all ford nationals today and have come to the conclusion they should re name it to All Mustang Nationals! Thru a sea of ford car parts (manly 50’s 60’s 70,s) I spotted 1 T part. An early aluminum hogs head. Quite disappointing :| 3000 some odd cars and there was 3 Model T,s. A 1927 coupe for sale. Very nice shape 16K .I didn’t get that ones picture and the other 2 are pictured below.

I guess it’s a dead show for the Model T after all…

Yea, I live near Harrisburg and seldom attend any of the Carlisle shows. They are known for drawing a 1950s/60s and up crowd. We wait for the Fall Hershey to get our early car fix. I am pretty sure my family will be showing our 3 Ts this year at the Fall meet. Would be fun to have a lot of folks enter Ts.... non judged, judged, or DPC. Would be great to see a nice turn put.

Now that Is a show I am looking forward to! I have never been to Hershey yet. Seems like a long while to wait but we will get there before you know it…

The Tudor is mine. It got way more attention than I ever bargained for!
I parked it and hung out with my Thunderbird friends.
It placed third and also ended up being a celebrity pick winner. Both awards were totally unexpected!
I had a blast giving several people rides before loading the car for the trip home today.
Thanks for posting the pictures!

Hey awesome Jim! The car looked great and I was happy to find it :D to bad I didn’t stick around for a ride. I still have never ridden in a Model T yet.

What!? That's unacceptable! :o
I can tell you that weather permitting, it will be at the Mason Dixon Dragway car show on Sunday August 28th.
I had several friends who were going to bring their parents out for a ride.
Please feel free to drop by to introduce yourself and we'll hop on I-81 for a blast errr, I mean a leisurely cruise down Rt.40.
I had to have gone to at least 30 car shows last year in hopes of just seeing an enclosed T in person prior to making my purchase decision, so I know exactly how you feel!

Hey thanks for the info! I did not know about this show. I see it’s also a swap meet. I wonder how T parts will fair at it? I live in Myersville MD so the drag strip is very close to me. How convenient! I have often thought the attention a T would get racing the quarter mile  I will put it on my calendar thanks!
