I wonder if Henry used spur straps to hold down touring tops back in the day? Both of the straps on my ‘24 were rotten when I got it, and broke on the first pull. I made some straps out of an old belt of mine, but the leather was too thick. After a fair amount of looking online I found these 19-inch Weaver English spur straps that are a perfect fit; $10.19 plus tax and shipping for the pair on Amazon. The buckles are a bit different, but wouldn’t be hard to swap out.
