Thinking about puchasing new cams for the brake and reverse pedals. Any concerns I should be aware of? Ie quality of the pieces, how they fit with original pedals with the usual amount of wear, or other conerns.

Gotta believe there are still good originals out there. Have you contacted Langs or bob Bergstadt?

I just built mine up on the TT with a bit of weld with a Mig, didn't grind them to fit very much, just touched them up. Worked great for me. Dave

IMO the reproduction pedal cams are just fine, sure beat old used worn cams, now if you CAN find NOS pedal cams...great :P But don't hold your breath!

What works good is a pedal in good shape when coupled to a repro pedal cam, action is restored about the best you can do.

Worn cam compared to reproduction.

Worn cam on a original pedal as removed.

Reproduction cam on same pedal, good fit and function.
