I doubt you are scrapping anything that is usable. I'm sure you will have no problem selling your stuff at scrap prices.

Rather than scrap why not list your parts in the classifieds at scrap value? Now if you are talking about parts that are completely unusable then sure scrap them.

After being out of service with severe back pain for the past month I improved enough to throw the speedster together and drag it onto the trailer. I had it for sale at Baka. but could not sell it. Now I have two months to try and finish it up and try to sell it at the Auburn meet.
Having it painted and running should make a huge difference at Auburn in June. At least I was able to sell a bunch of surplus garage model T parts, mostly little stuff I can lift.
Here is the space I was in. Matt, Erik and a few friends came by. I missed a bunch of folks as I pretty much stayed in my space.

- Horlick's space E-3
I can't seem to get this photo of my speedster's magneto to post right side up due to it's portrait orientation.
I think if you click on the photo it may show correctly.

- American Bosch DU4
The fellow in the next booth had this for sale. It is one of two of these movie props built for the film Leathernecks. It originally had a side car full of batteries to run the electric motor. That is why George Clooney and Renee Zellwiger never rode in the side car!

- Prop Motorcycle
The meet was a lot of fun, buyer turnout was sparse on Friday and almost non-existant on Saturday. There was ton's more model T stuff than there was model T enthusiasts shopping!
(IMHO, TH)

I was there as a buyer. It was great. I am slow. I got there Friday at 9:30 and finished at around 4:00 seeing each vendor only once!
I saw someone with a toy steam engine. I texted brother-in-law, but he responded as an too late. The vendor had packed up by the time I looked ~5:00. Any chance anyone remember who had it?
Thanks,
Matt

It was a great swap meet. Most of the spaces were occupied unlike a Chickasha. There was lots of early stuff and the prices fairly reasonable, which coming from a cheap guy like me, probably means buyers wanted to sell. There were many T wheels for sale, including many T wire wheels in good condition. There was a single seater speedster based on a Star running gear that would be fun. There were several Ts including one that used to go on the MTFCSC long distance tours, but priced a little high for my budget.
On a personal level I found the correct headlights for the 1909, so now all five lamps are Jno Brown. The side lights are Model 60 and the headlights Model 15, just as the build sheet indicates. I have sold the three E&J side lights and now the two E&J headlamps will soon be in the classified.

Bakersfield is not a huge swat me. But I tend to be a slow buyer. I actually got there at 9:30 and it took me until after 4 o’clock to make the full circuit. I enjoyed meeting people but frankly I spent most my time looking at their car parts.
Since I was successful in one thing maybe I should post another
My dad bought some Model A stuff off of a nice gentleman. Then we walked around and came back to the backside and I saw this axle but the seller wasn’t present. At the end of the day Saturday I came by he still had the axle there but he had left for the day.
If anyone could please put me in touch with the owner that would be great. I know this is not much to go by when there was thousands of Model T parts

At Bakersfield there was a family near the entrance selling piles of old rusty stuff. I plan to head through Bakersfield this week. Could anyone send me their contact info?
Thanks!

When I mention a family. Evidently the grandfather\Father\husband had passed away and the family was enjoying selling the rusty the mountain of parts. So if you were there and happen to know the family I would appreciate getting connected.
Thanks,
Matt
