We had our local Father's Day Car Show and Swap meet last weekend. It was a great chance to see old cars and old friends.
I drove the '09 to the show as a contrast to the wide variety of cars there. Kevin had just bought this "15" speedster to add to his vast collection of Red cars including a Ferrari and a Lamborghini. It had passed through several owners and coincidently a fellow showed up who had owned it a dozen years ago. They had lots to talk about. Kent and his Brother brought a '15 Touring that their Father built and drove them in years ago. Joe had the 1908 Reo Gentleman's Roadster that he pieced together over several decades and a photo of it "As Found" in 1969.

A 1927 Nash showed up that we hadn't seen before. I was surprised that a friend I had worked with owned it now. Of course we had some street rods, this 1927 was there. These meets are a lot of fun but are getting to be more work and tougher for us as we get older. We talk about health issues and the economy way to much and not about the fun of the cars as much.

Thanks Wayne. We do get a good variety of cars. 40 years ago half the cars were antique but we have lost a many members and the other clubs are good to support us. On a sunny day we fill up the park with 300 or more cars of all kinds.
The swap meet has way fewer old parts for sale. I did find two buckets of bolts to buy. The first one had 60% Model T bolts in it and lots of other high head bolts. Sorting through it today seemed like what I wanted to do. There are a dozen domed head head bolts and lots of drilled bolts for cotter pins or wire. I was running low on original bolts and nuts and these were dirt cheap. I will try to get good pictures of some of the oddities in the mix for anyone who might need something or just enjoy seeing them or guessing what they are. It is cheap entertainment.

Rich, next swap me you go to as a seller, take the residue from your bucket for others to pick through. I have shallow tray for this purpose, charge 10c a piece for any piece, and usually have lots of sales, and thankful buyers, especially one bloke who dug out 3 Bendix cove screws!

You turned that Mixed Nuts to the camera on purpose didn't you? I would.

Rich, this is not a guess, but the clip thingy in the left foreground is one of a pair used to hold the headlight wiring loom along the frame on Canadian cars. The second one goes the other way up, and the pair is held in place by the hood shelf bolts. There are 3 pairs all up, two on the left and one on the right side. The generator precludes the use of two sets there.

Thanks and yes on the mixed nuts. I spent two days sorting and rinsing in solvent. It's relaxing and an excuse not to do other things. These are pan and trans bolts. Some are in fine shape. There are more than enough for one car. A fan bracket bolt, body bolts, a nickel plated domed outlet bolt and headbolts and a lot of parts that are hard to find when putting a T together. Even a carb needle. The second bucket has rustier stuff so I won't try to clean them. A couple dozen of the castellated nuts turned freely on the cleaned bolts. I'm noticing the difference in styles and may to study them. I believe most were on a Model T. I bought a few other parts but these were great entertainment for now and less than it costs to go to a movie.
I still plan to post the odd stuff in case someone needs any of it.

I promised to post some miscellaneous items that were in the buckets with the Model T bolts. I often find things that I need that others can't identify. I don't know that any of this is worth the postage to send it but perhaps someone will find something they need. I have put red numbers around to help identify where individual items are near. Some dimensions are noted.
Some members may enjoy just guessing what things are or may know and add to our knowledge.
I suspect the Apco button is for a horn. (1) The fasteners (10) may be upholstery or top, but for what? Anyway, here they are for what it's worth.
I'll show these on the classifieds so more can see them.

PS, Perry, I do know what the copper items with Abe Lincoln are. They're just there for size reference.

I believe the items near 13 are steering connecting rod shims.
5 may be a distributor cap clip.

OH! so that is what Abe Lincoln looks like...I was never able to save up to see a coin that high in value.

I would the the Murphy Rod and the Muffler bearing please.

Here are some more odd balls. Let me know if you need some or know what they are. I hate to throw them away or have my heirs wonder what to do with the.

Number 25 in your last picture is a thingamajig. It’s used to hold the nut onto the flywheel for a biscuit cutter. I have several just like it. They’re pretty common.

No 31 is the flanged nut used with the loose lug Kelsey demountable wheels supplied on our Canadian sourced cars.
