metro brake conversion
Has anyone done the metro rear brake conversion? Any thing you can pass on will be a great help. It's a 21 roadster, thanks Chuck.

YES, That will work amazingly well. Google Ralph Ricks (RIP) and include brakes or model T Ford and you should find lots of pictures and info. I may have some left over parts or drums? RDR insisted you buckle up if you rode with him in case he did a panic stop. It was a popular system here many years ago and several cars were equipped with the four wheel Metros.

Have seen this done with K car brakes. Think would be easier to get than metro. Dan

Re: metro brake conversion
All the Metropolitan brake parts you could ever want are still available brand new.
Luckily, we have a local specialist, Kip Motor Company, that not only deals in Metros, but in a lot of oddball, small production cars. They also do short run, or even one-off production of hard to find parts.
