We would do both also.

An idea : for those of us who would sure like to go to participate , but due to distance , work commitments and other factors cannot, how about doing a video recording of the Workshops or presentations so that some of us Speedster guys ( or speedster wannabe's ) could watch them ? MTFCA could charge for them and it would help raise funds.

I believe this is the schedule for the Reunion. No workshops or presentations.

Wed - Registration and tour of Museum.
Thurs - 120-150 mile road tour
Fri - Hill Climb and car show downtown
Sat - Dyno testing and banquet

The rest of the time is yours to do as you want. The museum is building a new addition and I do not know if it will be ready by summer. You really need a whole day to see everything in the museum and you can do that after the hill climb and after Dyno. The best part is to see all the different types of speedsters, both T and A models and visit with the participants.

Speedster tour is always the same week in June, every other year. It is unfortunate Kansas picked the same week. There is also a national tour in WI.

It is unfortunate that the dates clash. In defense of the Kansas tour, dates for national tours are not as flexible as you may think. When we hosted we only had about 3 weeks of the spring/summer that we’re feasible. Hotels don’t really like to reserve large blocks during popular seasons.

Wouldn't mind seeing something like this once,for sure though.

I can relate 24 hrs and 1,656 for me but I would like to attend at least once. I will have to wrap some other touring into the trip. Have been to the museum about 13 or 14 years ago and it is defenitly worth a visit but it would be the speedsters that would be the real draw. I'll need to think about where else I'd like to visist on the way there or back.

May be doable for us, any kind of cheap camping or?
